Dear Friends 

At the AGM of the Australian Anglo-Indian Assn of Canberra held on 19/11/2022, there was a discussion on the events scheduled to be held at the next World Reunion of Anglo-Indians in Canberra in March 2024. The rates for each event, Full Rate Package Payments, Early Bird Discounted Package Payments, time slots for events, whether lunch and dinner should be served at all events etc will need to be closely worked out, prices fixed and presented in mid-January 2023.    Bookings along with payments for events will begin on 1st April 2023 and cease on 31 October 2023.  

There will be bookings for Early Bird Discounted Rate Payment Package for all events which will begin on 1st April 2023 and close on 31st August  2023.  

There will be no sale of events after 31 October 2023. 

If all events are sold out much before October 2023, then It will be necessary to accept the situation as it exists as nothing more could be done to get new accommodations with extra seating to accommodate late entries.   Please note there will be no refund of monies except if Government restrictions are imposed.

This price does not include ticket to attend the 12th Anglo Indian Reunion or transport to attend various Reunion functions. Sat. 12th & Sun. 13th: Weekend Trip to Shepparton and  Echuca 2 Days, 1 night. Includes coach travel, twin share motel accommodation, Saturday dinner, Sunday breakfast and lunch.  Cost: Members $200.00 and Non-members $250.00. THE 12TH WORLD REUNION OF ANGLO INDIANS IN CANBERRA 10th to the 16th March 2024

Fri. 1st to Sun, 3rd:​ 3 days 2nights Rock N Roll music weekend to Corowa Golf Club. Cost: Members $350.00, Non-Members $400.00, includes twin-share Motel Accomodation, all coach travel, 2 breakfasts AND 2 lunches. 
Please note: The daily pass to attend the music show will be at your own cost. 


Fri. 8th: Our Lady of Vailankanni Feast 6:00pm Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Oakleigh
Our association will be supporting Fr Raju's Parish to celebrate this Mass, followed by refreshments at the Church Hall.
All members are welcome to attend.


Sun. 10th:  Our Lady of Vailankanni Feast Mass at Bacchus Marsh
1st Coach will leave Hampton Park at 11:00am, Noble Park at 11:30am
2nd Coach will leave Clarinda at 11:30am, Oakleigh at 12.00noon
Cost: $20.00 for coach travel, please make payment to our bank account.  Biryani lunch pack will also be available for sale.


Sun 17th:  Sunday Social at Oakleigh Hall from 12.00pm to 5.30pm.  Whist, Lunch, bingo and music. Live music by Brendan Scott. BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL Cost: Members $25.00, Non-Members $30.00.

Sat 23rd: 52nd Anniversary Ball at Springvale Town Hall from 7pm to 1am.  Live music by Eruption Duo (Rick Charles) and Everest.  Smorgasbord dinner, sweets, coffee & tea, 2 bottles of wine on each table. Cost: Members $50.00 and Non-Members $55.00, Children 5-12 years $25.00. (Dance Brochure under - Dances September 2023). PLEASE MAKE PAYMENT TO OUR BANK ACCOUNT ASAP AND YOUR TICKETS WILL BE HELD AT THE DOOR FOR COLLECTION. THERE WILL BE NO TICKET SALES AT THE DOOR.

Wed 4th to Sat 7th  - 3 nights 4 days.  Seniors Week to Lakes Entrance.  This will include twin share motel accommodation at Lakes Entrance RSL Cost for members: $140.00 and non-members $150.00 for motel. Meals available at the RSL Bistro at your own cost. The V-Line train is free for Senior’s.


Sun 15th: Sunday Social at Oakleigh Hall from 12.00pm to 4.00pm.  Whist, Lunch, bingo and music. BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL Cost: Members $25.00, Non-Members $30.00.  The AGM will start at 4.00pm.  All members are welcome to attend.

Sun 29th:  Yarra River Cruise on the Yarra Princess for 4 hours from 1pm to 5pm. Live music by Brendan Scott, dancing, lunch, wine and soft-drinks will be served. Cost: Members $60.00 and Non-members $80.00. Additional $20.00 for those requiring coach transport. Please book by return email and make payment into the AIAA bank account.

Fri 3rd to Tue 7th: 5 Days, 4 nights to Sydney, Batemans Bay, Merimbula, Lakes Entrance. Staying 2 nights at Sydney, 1 night at Batemans Bay, 1 night Merimbula. Visiting Merimbula, Bega, Tilba Tilba, Bermagui, Narooma. At Sydney we will be visiting the Mary McKillop's Church, Manly, Circular Quay, Berrima, this includes coach travel, motel accommodation and daily breakfast Cost: Members $750.00 Non-members $800.00.​ Please book by return email. Wed 5th to Wed 19th: (15 days) Fly to Darwin, Coach back to Melbourne. SOLD OUT. Second Tour in October 2023.
